The Dragon is strongest sign of the Chinese zodiac calendar, and a great 2012 is expected.
Encino's Chamber of Commerce, along with local orthodontist Dr. Stephen Yu, celebrated the Chinese New Year more than a week ahead of time, on January 12, with Chinese food and lion dancers.
The Chinese New Year of 2012 is the Year of Dragon, the most favored of the zodiac signs. The dragon is a symbol of the Chinese emperor, according to the Huffington Post, and those born under this sign are believed to be lucky and strong.
