On This Day in Encino History: Clark Gable Has Heart Attack [VIDEO]

The movie star fell ill at his home in Encino.

On Nov. 6, 1960, movie star Clark Gable suffered a heart attack at his Encino home, according to various news sources including the Toledo Blade, which reported on the incident the following day.

Gable was at his home in the 4500 block of Petitt Street with his fifth wife, Kay Gable, at the time of the attack. He died at Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital 10 days later, on Nov. 16.
