Found! Gorgeous Cat!

A beautiful cat has been hanging out in our backyard, does it belong to you?  We are in 91316.

Can anyone tell me how long is appropriate before we call this cat ours? I would like to capture and spay/neuter if needed. Could this cat just be coming here and hanging out during the day and going to a nice and cozy home at night?

It certainly could be an owned cat, possibly new to the neighborhood, that likes to hang out in various yards. If you can catch it to bring it in to my clinic I can scan it for a microchip. Cat's Meow Veterinary Clinic 818-346-7161

I was going to suggest the same thing...make sure to see if the cat is micro-chipped. I would certainly hope that any pet owner that lets their cat out would put a collar and tags on them, but some are not as conscientious. Perhaps also putting a Found Cat flyer up in your neighborhood could also help. Good luck, she is a beautiful cat, and you are a good person to want to take her in if she indeed has found her home with you.

This beautiful cat reminds me of my beautiful Sunset who passed away in 2000; she was 14. Calico's are so sweet, gentle, attentive, smart and very comforting; they are also very inquisitive. I would love to take her, but I have three others already. I pray that her owner is found; if not, your kindness in taking her in wouldn't go unrewarded. Many blessings.

Thank you all for your suggestions! I will definitely put up signs and if I do not get a response, it's off to the Vet we go! I have seen Cat's Meow Veterinary Clinic on Ventura and I really appreciate the offer to have you check for a microchip! Thank you so much!
