At the 101 E on-ramp, on Burbank Blvd. and East of Reseda Blvd. (near Tarzana Medical center), a grandmother was walking her small dog and 3 grandchildren across the crosswalk. Someone turning onto the freeway fatally ran over the little dog and injured one very young boy as they were crossing. If anyone has any information regarding the driver in this hit and run, please call the police. There was a big rig stopped at the crosswalk during the incident; the driver might have witnessed the accident, but did not get out to assist.
