82-Year-Old Fitness Instructor Leads by Example

Don U'ren is proof that no one is too old to exercise.

Since 1992, Don U'ren has been the force behind the Balboa Sports Center's senior fitness program. Three days a week he teaches Chi Kung, an hour-long, low-impact exercise and stretching class.

U'ren’s students are between the ages of 56 and 86, and attribute their improved health and flexibility to the exercises he’s taught them.
