Community Corner

DAY OF SERVICE HONORING THE HEROES OF 9/11

This will be a wonderful day for families to join together in community service.
We begin the morning with an interfaith service highlighted by the planting of an Olive Tree donated by The Ehsan Muslim Community Center followed by Hesed (Acts of Kindness) activities for all ages including assembling back packs and hygiene kits for homeless children and planting our organic vegetable garden for SOVA. We will be joined by School on Wheels and Hope of the Valley Mission as well as members from our armed forces and emergency service personnel. As a community we will create an inspiring commemorative piece of art honoring 9/11. Please drop off donations of toiletries and school supplies at either campus to help fill the backpacks.

Barbeque lunch will be provided by Brotherhood and Women of Temple Judea
