Wild Wings Bird Walk in the Sepulveda Basin

Wild Wings will be leading a morning bird walk in the Sepulveda Basin Wildlife Reserve Sunday, Sept 25th.  The SBWR's diverse habitat is a refuge for wildlife living within our major urban area and a fantastic birding spot for Warblerthe beginner to the advanced.  We will be looking for fall migrant and resident birds and expect to see between 40-50 species. The walk will be about a mile loop on flat ground and last approximately two hours.

Directions: Exit the San Diego Freeway (I-405) on Burbank Blvd. Go west about .5 miles to Woodley Avenue and turn right (north).  Drive about .5 miles to the second possible right turn (at the sign for the Water Reclamation Plant and Japanese Garden). Turn right and go east about .5 miles to Wildlife Area parking at the end of the road. Turn left into the lot and park.  We will meet at 8:00am and begin the walk from there.
