Rescue Pet of the Week: Sepia, the Labrador Retriever, Vizsla Mix

Sepia has had a string of bad luck but Forte Animal Rescue will pay for her surgery. Now she just needs a loving foster home.

Meet Sepia, an adorable 3-year-old Labrador Retriever/Vizsla mix.

Sepia has had a string of bad luck. She was tossed from home to home until she ended up without one. A good Samaritan coaxed Sepia away from a group of homeless dogs and brought her to Forte Animal Rescue, where they discovered she had severe hip dysplasia in both hips. Surgery has been scheduled to address her condition.

Though she is probably experiencing pain, Sepia is very playful with both people and other dogs. Sepia is a true stunner with a beautiful chestnut coat, and a gem with her sweet personality. Forte Animal Rescue will cover Sepia's surgical expenses, but they are also desperately seeking monetary donations to cover the costs, as well as a foster family that will provide a home during her recovery.
