You drive on it every day, but do you know where it comes from? Well, the city's Bureau of Street Service's news team (yes, apparently they have one) has the answer how asphalt comes to be.
One of the city's asphalt plants is located at 12251 Sherman Way, right here in the Valley, where its hard to miss the large industrial equipment when passing by. The attached YouTube clip explains what all that gargantuan machinery does.
