After rumors surfaced earlier this year that the celebrity couple Elton John and David Furnish were expecting their second child, Britain's Mirror newspaper is reporting that a source has said that the duo are "over the moon" about the prospect of having baby number two. It also reports on speculation that the surrogate mother is the same woman who bore their first child after the couple found her with the help of Encino's Center for Surrogate Parenting.
The company's website states that "we strongly believe that couples who are ready and willing to take on the responsibility of parenthood deserve that opportunity." It also has a special section welcoming gay parents, which states that "Raising a child is one of the special joys in life and CSP feels that intended gay parents deserve this opportunity."
John and Furnish's son, Zachary Furnish John, was born in 2010.
