PHOTO ESSAY: A Hidden Japanese Garden in the Valley

This series of photographs captures the volunteers, artists and visitors at the Japanese Garden in Encino.

It is difficult to imagine a more beautiful oasis than the Japanese Garden in Encino. Many residents don't know about this hidden gem, which is tucked away in the Sepulveda Basin reserves off of Woodley Avenue. Encino Patch wandered through the "Artistry with Plants" event on September 12 and invites you to take a tour through the snapshots and captions in this photo essay.
