Encino Doctors Team With 'The Bra Recyclers' for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

A physician's office on Ventura Boulevard is donating bras to women in need.

[The following information was taken from a press release issued by Beverly Hills Physicians, who have an office in Encino].

As Beverly Hills Physicians celebrates its 15th year, the company wants to continue changing the lives of patients as well as the lives of others in the greater Los Angeles community. One of the most rewarding parts of being a member of a community is being able to give back to it, so in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Beverly Hills Physicians is launching a bra collection at several of its locations.

The bras will be donated to Los Angeles women in need through The Bra Recyclers program, a textile recycling company specializing in the recycling and reuse of used and unused bras. According to a statement on its website, "Our bras are distributed around the world through exporters and Bra Recycling Ambassadors to deserving women and girls in transition."
