Fresh & Easy Express celebrated its grand opening on Ventura Boulevard and Haskell Wednesday. The supermarket store staff welcomed shoppers with special offers, free coffee and free reusable tote bags.
It also presented a check to the Los Angeles-based charity Saving Innocence, which "fights to end the commerical sexual exploitation of children and restore the cultural values of innocence and human worth."

The store has a special 50-percent-off area for deals, a $1 pastry stand, coffee from Coffee Bean and a place to heat up the quick meals and burritos on sale.
