Should L.A.'s medical marijuana dispensaries be taxed? That's an issue that voters in Los Angeles will get to decide in next Tuesday's election.

Supporters of Measure M say requiring dispensary operators to pay a tax of 5 percent on their gross receipts could raise $10 million a year for the city's general fund, which is running a $350 million budget deficit in the next fiscal year.
