Tell Us: What Should Be in the Glendora Plaza?

Scheduled to have opened nearly a year ago, the Glendora Plaza awaits grand opening.

Sitting on one of the city’s busiest intersections, Glendora Plaza, the 23,000-square foot development on Route 66 and Grand Avenue was supposed to have opened nearly a year ago.

According to its website, at least three of its 13 units have been leased – Verizon is leasing two units, while Chickpeas Mediterranean Grill is leasing another.

So tell us, what businesses would you like to see in the Glendora Plaza? What kinds of stores or restaurants do you think this area needs more or less of?

I heard that a Sprouts is supposed to come to the Marketplace. Not for another year or two (I think). That was very exciting news to me!

I work a few blocks down, but I would love to see a coffee house, jamba juice, sports bar and a nice sit down restaurant too.

i'd love a jamba too, but it's probably too close to the azusa one. maybe they'd put one in on rte. 66 and lone hill, across the street from the starbucks?

The rooms are really small. A Target or Trader Joes need a lot more space than what's available. I'd say a few small restaurants or an Apple Store would be nice.

Frozen yogurt place! We drove around for a long time trying to find a Pinkberries or Cherry on Top. We finally found the yogurt place in the Stater Bros shopping center on Lone Hill and Rt 66. It would be great to have another one!
