Hello,

Let me introduce myself.  My name is Dr. Linda Salvin.  I am a metaphysician, psychic, healer, medium and talk show host.  In short, I'm a psychic but I wasn't always.  A native of Los Angeles, I grew up in Sherman Oaks, attended Grant High School and Valley College, went off to San Francisco State University and onto the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.

I returned in 1977 with a Master's in Public Health Epidemiology (study of epidemics) and four years later, while on company business to San Jose, survived a commercial airplane crash at John Wayne Airport.  My life changed forever, having had an out of body experience sliding down the ramp. It took six long and painful years to fully understand what was happening to me, but I was becoming very psychic. The following year, I had my second near-death experience when my car was hit by a fire truck and in 1984, I totalled a car and experienced the white light.

Had I not lived through all this, I would not believe it either. Each time I stood up, it seemed I was knocked over again, but becoming more and more psychic during a time all my friends were becoming yuppies. It was not the popular thing back then; I was breaking ground and it was very lonely, let alone frightening.

By 1994—after the earthquake, emergency surgery, which led me to healing work and TV with Psychic Friends Network with Dionne Warwick—I was one of 365 people selected to begin a psychic show on L.A.'s KBIG 104 FM, and from there my radio psychic career began.

With this blog, I will explain the psychic and spiritual world, answer questions you may have, make predictions on occasion and invite you to participate as I help bring awareness to a field highly misunderstood and often feared.  Having worked in this area and helped thousands over the year on national radio and private practice, I am now thrilled to join the Patch.com team to contribute to the community and reach another audience.

You can see more of who I am by visiting my website and listening to my radio show at www.lindasalvin.com. Feel free to book a session or contact me for personal appearances.  Write here with your suggestions for topics from soulmates to life after death.  I'll touch upon them all.

Blessings & Butterflies until next time,

Dr. Linda
