Traffic is a nightmare, but Oprah came to town and so did Superintendent Jack O'Connell.

  1. Earlier this week, we reported that Oprah Winfrey's film crew was spotted at the Jackson's Encino estate on Saturday. Winfrey interviewed the late singer's parents, Katherine and Joe, and took a tour of the property, according to the New York Daily News. The new report also suggests Winfrey sat down with Jackson's three children, who have never been interviewed before. They are believed to have opened up about their famous dad for Winfrey. The episode is due to air in the coming weeks, according to the New York Daily News.
  2. The Skirball Bridge demolition began last night and will continue through Saturday. There will be a full directional freeway closure on most nights of the demolition during the late night hours. For more information about the Metro project and road closures, click here.
