1. The Encino Neighborhood Council’s Planning and Land Use Committee will meet tonight at 7 at the Encino Community Center. See the agenda here.

2. The Los Angeles Police Protective League, which represents the more than 9,900 LAPD officers throughout the city, has created PublicSafetyFirst.com. The website posts crime alerts, public safety news and information on community events and resources.

3. Mark your calendars: There’s going to be a free health fair on Saturday in Canoga Park to offer medical screenings and dental work. No ID or insurance required. For more information, click here.

4. The National Weather Service is predicting a high of 93 degrees today. The low will be around 70 degrees.
