LADWP Explains Rate Adjustments

The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) has been holding a series of community meetings to receive input on the 2011 Water and Power Rates Process. Only July 20, there will be a summary session Downtown from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the LADWP Headquarters, A-Level, 111 N. Hope St. in Los Angeles. Runyon Canyon to Close Early

, a popular spot for viewing Fourth of July fireworks, will close at 5 p.m. during July 1-4.  Police and park rangers are to be on hand during the early-closure period to ensure compliance and patrol the area.
