Celebrate the Year of the Dragon with the Encino Chamber of Commerce

Join the Encino Chamber of Commerce at the Dr. Stephen Yu annual Chinese New Year Celebration with over 150 people, free Chinese food, prizes, and lion dancers.

The is excited to announce the date of the 2012 Chinese New Year’s Celebration Mixer at the Dr. Yu’s New Year’s Celebration is the official January mixer of the Encino Chamber of Commerce and has been for many years.

The celebration will be held on Thursday, January 12th at 5pm. The event will be at the , which is 17815 Ventura Boulevard, Suite 212, in Encino.

This is the largest Chinese New Year’s celebration in the southern San Fernando Valley. In addition to tasty Chinese food, business and community networking with over 150 people, there will be prizes and Chinese Lion Dancers.

This will be the year of the Dragon. The dragon in Chinese culture has been considered one of the luckiest signs in the zodiac. Therefore, 2012 will be a very good year to get married, have children or start a new business.

Diana Donovan, CEO of the Encino Chamber of Commerce, is looking forward to the mixer and the fun that comes with it. 

“This is one of the best mixers of the year," said Donovan, "Dr. Yu and his office staff do a wonderful job to make this a fun event. They invite patients and associates as well as the chamber membership so it is one of the best attended mixers with between 150 and 200 people in attendance every year.”
