Despite the rain, more than 500 parents and students came to the rock 'n' roll-themed on Sunday. The event was organized by Dads & Dudes, a group that raises money for Encino Elementary and gives father figures the opportunity to spend time with family and friends at community events.

And just up the 101 Freeway, more than a dozen gourmet food trucks made a pit stop at Calabasas High for a school fundraiser on Saturday. Students and community members feasted on Filipino fusion, gourmet crepes, tapas, ice cream and more. All of the proceeds went directly to the high school.
