As part of the I-405 Sepulveda Pass Widening Project, the contractor must conduct additional emergency repair work on Sepulveda Blvd. on Thursday, August 18, and Friday, August 19, according to Metro Community Relations Officer Ron Macias.

Sepulveda Blvd. is expected to be reduced to one lane in each direction from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. between Mountaingate Dr. and the Skirball Bridge

This work is necessary to conduct emergency repair work on the existing roadway on Sepulveda Boulevard, Macias said.

The contractor will also close the Mulholland Bridge on the night of Saturday, August 20, and Monday, August 22, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.  This work is needed to alter the alignment of the k-rail (concrete barrier) on the bridge and re-stripe traffic lanes.
