Encino's Baja Fresh Has Closed

The Mexican restaurant on Ventura Boulevard failed to open its doors for business this week.

The Encino branch of the popular franchise chain has closed. While there is no closed sign on the door, or any notice of explanation, the restaurant is empty, with no tables, chairs or food service items in sight. The store's direct telephone number has been disconnected.

Calls to the chain's corporate office were not immediately returned Thursday. Check back with Patch for details on the closure as we get them. We'll endeavor to let you know if another Baja Fresh will open in the area, and whether there are any plans for another business to take over the space.

Will you miss Baja Fresh? What would you like to see take its place on Ventura Boulevard? Another restaurant, or something else? Let us know by leaving a comment in the box below!

Lack of parking/no parking during rush hour made eating there impossible. I have found BF food not to be as good as it used to be, prices went up and I go to Chipotle when I have the choice.
