Great Escape: City of Angels Wine-Tasting Party on the Plaza

Drink and eat for a cause in an urban setting this Memorial Day.

Escape to downtown and do something a little different this Memorial Day Monday. Eat and drink for a cause at The Second Annual City of Angels Wine Fest at the Music Center Plaza. Hosted by The Rotary Club of Los Angeles Foundation, it's a party by the fountains featuring wine, food, music and a special silent auction.

There will be 28 California wineries, plus catering from Patina Restaurant Group eateries: Nick + Stef’s Steakhouse, Café Pinot, Kendall’s Brasserie, Zucca Ristorante and Tina Tacos.   Entertainment includes live performances by Ours and The Family Crest. There will also be a silent auction including members of the Downtown Los Angeles Artwalk.

Proceeds raised from the event supports the Volunteers of America Greater Los Angeles (VOALA) and benefits the renovation and development of VOALA’s Rotary House–a transitional facility in downtown Los Angeles providing shelter, vocational opportunities and hope for more than 1,800 homeless of all ages annually.
