Howard Berman Brings His 'Accomplishments Tour' to the Valley

As part of his election campaign, the Congressman spoke at three locations to draw attention to his achievements.

Rep. Howard Berman made three campaign stops Tuesday as part of his election bid to become the Congressman for the 30th Congressional district.

Billed by Berman's press office as his 'accomplishments tour,' he made his first stop at Berman Trail in Franklin Canyon, where he talked about his work to create, preserve and nurture the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy.

Berman's next stop was the rooftop of the Sherman Oaks Galleria, overlooking the 405 freeway, where he held a press conference with Mayor Villaraigosa. Berman highlighted his work securing funding for the 405 expansion.

Then Berman was off to his final stop, Universal Studios in Universal city, where he spoke about his committment to one of the area's largest industries, the entertainment business.
