Japanese Garden to Hold Ikebana Flower Arranging Exhibition

The local landmark will celebrate all things floral on September 9.

The Japanese garden, located at 6100 Woodley Avenue, next to the Tillman Water Recreation Plant, was created in 1983 with City funds and, to this day, remains a beautiful place to spend a sunny afternoon in the Valley.

There are a couple of events coming up at the garden in the fall: on September 9, there wll be an Ikebana (flower arrangement) exhibition; and on October 14, an origami festival. For more information, click here to visit the garden's website, or click on the PDF above for Ikebana information.
