Justin Bieber in Alleged Scuffle with Photographer
Bieber was at the Commons shopping center in Calabasas with his girlfriend, singer Selena Gomez, who lives in Encino.
Los Angeles sheriff's detectives continued their misdemeanor battery investigation of singer Justin Bieber today with an interview of the alleged victim who claimed the pop star hurt him during a scuffle at a Calabasas shopping center.
The battery investigation began after the alleged fight between Bieber and the unnamed photographer about 12:45 p.m. Sunday at The Commons at Calabasas in the 4700 block of Commons, Lt. Robert Wiard of the Malibu/Lost Hills sheriff's station said.
``Singer Justin Bieber and actress Selena Gomez were at The Commons at Calabasas shopping center,'' Wiard said. ``As the victim attempted to take a picture of Mr. Bieber, Mr. Bieber and the victim were involved in a physical altercation.'' Wiard said the victim, identified only as a 30-year-old man, called 911 and requested sheriff's deputies and paramedics.

The man complained of pain to his upper torso and was taken to a hospital where he was treated and released, Wiard said. Bieber left the scene before deputies arrived and was unavailable for comment, Wiard said. Detectives interviewed the alleged victim, plan to interview other witnesses and are planning to interview Bieber about the incident, Wiard said.
