Lenny Dykstra Cancels Showdown With Jose Canseco

The reason for his cancellation of boxing match is as yet unconfirmed.

The boxing match between former Major League Baseball stars

But Dykstra, who lives in Encino, canceled late Saturday, according to the boxing website 8countnews and NBC. NBC noted that the Philadelphia News tweeted the breaking announcement.

According to 8countnews, Canseco was left to fight Tariq Salahi, one half of the couple who crashed a White House state dinner in 2009. For the full story, and to find out who won that fight, click here.
