PHOTOS: See Images of the Solar Eclipse as it Happened

See the eclipse here!

Lacking the patience to sit in traffic going up to the Griffith Observatory (its website warns of "heavy traffic and parking congestion") I decided to make a device with which to watch the solar eclipse, which started at 5:24 p.m. PDT.

I made a solar eclipse viewer by following these instructions. Remember, never look directly at the sun.

I uploaded the photos of the eclipse as it happened.
