Van Nuys Redistricting Commission Meeting Canceled

The L.A. City Council's Redistricting Commission has canceled its next public hearing on Dec. 7, but others are still on track.

The L.A. City Council's Redistricting Commission has cancelled its public hearing scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 7, at 6:30 pm at Van Nuys City Hall.

The Dec. 17 meeting in the San Fernando Valley is still scheduled. The meetings are part of the process of drafting new Council District boundaries. Every 10 years, following the U.S. Census, districts are redrawn at all different levels of government, including the Los Angeles City Council Districts. At the meetings, the public can give input about the shape of the new Districts in advance of creating the early drafts.
