Small Earthquakes Shake Los Angeles County

Two small earthquakes, registering at magnitude 3.4 and 1.3, struck the region early Monday morning.

A couple of small earthquakes shook Los Angeles County early this morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

At 12:09 a.m., a 3.4 magnitude earthquake hit the Willowbrook area, a Los Angeles County community near El Segundo and about 32 miles southwest of Walnut.

A second earthquake hit at 12:13 a.m., a 1.3 magnitude trembler, whose epicenter was here in Encino, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. 

No serious damage has been reported.
