Manufacturer Peg Perego has recalled thousands of its strollers after a six-month-old child died of strangulation in Tarzana in 2004, according to NBCnews.com, among other media sources.

Babies and young children placed in the strollers without being harnessed are at risk of sliipping down and becoming trapped and strangled, according to NBC News.
