Skirball Off-Ramp Closure Beginning Tuesday
Daytime and nighttime closures of the southbound Skirball off-ramp are expected.
Starting Tuesday, the southbound Skirball Bridge off-ramp will be closed during the day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and at night from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. for approxmimately two weeks. The closure is needed to facilitate the reconstruction of the Skirball Bridge, said Metro community relations officer Ron Macias.
The work is part of the $1 billion effort to add a carpool lane on the northbound freeway between the Santa Monica (10) and Ventura (101) freeways, along with upgrading freeway ramps and sound walls.
