Week in Review: A Look Back at a Busy Week

Here's a recap of the local news from March 7-13.

Last week was anything but a slow news week in our small town of Encino.

We voted in the City council elections; heard about a devastating earthquake in Japan; learned Annette Funicello's house caught fire; lost an hour of sleep to Daylight Saving; and brought you all of the weekly columns and features that you're used to here on Encino Patch.

School boards, libraries and marijuana dispensaries were the three key issues that were important to those who did vote this morning.

Paul Krekorian, Tom LaBonge, Tony Cardenas and Jose Huizar retain their seats, while Mitchell Englander takes over his boss' seat.
