Where Can You Find the Cheapest Gas in Encino and Tarzana?

With prices in the Southland still dropping, Patch tells you the best places to fill your tank.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County decreased Saturday for the 46th consecutive day, falling three-tenths of a cent to $3.809, its lowest amount since July 22.

The average price has decreased 89.6 cents over the past 46 days, including a half-cent on Friday, after rising 50.4 cents over the previous seven days and reaching a record high of $4.705 on Oct. 9, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 3.7 cents less than one week ago and 59.4 cents lower than one month ago, but 6.5 cents more than one year ago.

The streak of dropping prices is the longest since a 57-day streak that ended July 13.
