Where to Celebrate New Year's Eve

Where will you be celebrating the arrival of 2012? These spots offer food, champagne, live music and more.

This Spanish tapas restaurant is serving up a seven course meal, complete with a different wine for each course, starting at 9 p.m. on New Year's Eve. Courses include servings of Manchego cheese and olives, croquetas, chorizo montaditos, and a choice of filet mignon, lamb chops or salmon. Desserts include flan, dulce de leche and strawberries with champagne. The New Year will be celebrated with a champagne toast at midnight, with music and dancing until 3 a.m. Reservations are $75 per person.

The evening will feature live music from Persian singer Shahram Shabpareh, bellydancers and a full bar. Food will include a selection of meat kabob plates. Call ahead for reservations.

This South African themed sports bar is offering a special New Year's Eve menu with three courses and a bottle of bubbly. Call ahead for reservations.

This Mexican restaurant is taking dinner reservations on New Year's Eve. There will be a special menu for two that includes steak, salmon, and chicken, all served with rice and beans and soup or a salad, and a bottle of bubbly. A Mariachi band will play in the new year, and the restaurant will be open until 3 a.m. Reservations are recommended.

The restaurant is already all booked up for New Year's Eve, but it does have a wait list. The bar will be open without reservations. Live music wil play through the night, and there will be a champagne toast at midnight.
