Bingo, BBQ & Silent Auction Evening for Homeless Families

The Los Angeles House of Ruth, a non-profit organization in

support of homeless and battered women with children, will host its annual fundraiser - Bingo & BBQ Night - at 6 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 2, at St. Cyril’s Parish,
15520 Ventura Bl., Encino CA.


Tickets are $35 per person and include two beverages, dinner, bingo games, and raffles. Guests will enjoy music provided by a DJ and a
silent auction featuring vacation rentals, high-end electronics, jewelry,
original glass art and gift certificates for restaurants.


Proceeds from Casino Night support on-going programs for the

organization’s clientele.

Sister Jennifer Gaeta, Executive Director, says, “We are actually seeing a very slight reduction in the number of homeless due to the great effort of organizations working to end it. Los Angeles House of Ruth achieves a 95% success rate in transitioning homeless families into permanent housing and supporting them while they fully achieve independence and successful lives.
