Michael Curtis has been a certified instructor for the American Red Cross since 1971, which includes CPR for professionals and lay people, as well as teaching pediatric CPR to administer on infants and toddlers. He completes all scheduled updates and occasionally works with an additional instructor/trainer to ensure the quality of his presentations.

Michael is also an instructor and trainer of infant massage with the International Association of Infant Massage. He provides training and consultation to a variety of professionals in several different work environments throughout the United States, including occupational therapists, physical therapists, early intervention specialists, Early Head Start, Parents as Teachers, hospitals, and neonatal intensive care units. When his schedule permits, he works directly with parents, caregivers, and babies. Michael focuses on the critical importance of positive attachment experiences with full-term babies, as well as babies born prematurely and those who are experiencing complex medical issues.
