National Health Through Fitness Day

A native of Encino, Calif., Peter
Hudnut is heading to Washington, D.C. March 4-5 to participate in
“National Health Through Fitness Day,” supported by PHIT America and the Sports Industry
Fitness Association. 

Hudnut won a silver medal for Team USA in water polo at the 2008 Summer
Olympics in Beijing. He was also a two-time national champion at Stanford
University (2001, 2002).



On
March 5, Hudnut will sit down with Congressional leaders and explain how
fitness and regular activity have helped him achieve his goals and aspirations.

The
main focus is to communicate key messages about PHIT America, an educational
and advocacy campaign, and supporting specific pieces of legislation designed
to reach millions of Americans to combat the obesity and sedentary activity
crisis.
