Join us for an evening at Jazz at the CAP with internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter Tony Galla, as he shares his multi-faceted talent as an entertainer and singer. Whether it’s blues, Italian opera, big band, or caressing a beautiful ballad, Tony’s passion and gift of music is always revealed in his incredible delivery of a song.

Description: 
Early in his career, Tony’s unique bluesy sound and passionate style caught the attention of rock legend Jimi Hendrix, who helped Tony’s band land a recording contract with Clive Davis and Columbia Records. Soon Tony could be found jamming into the wee hours of the night with Jimi Hendrix or Janis Joplin at local nightclubs in New York City.

Tony’s has toured extensively opening for a diverse group of artists such as Joe Cocker, Led Zeppelin, B.B. King, Eric Clapton and Buddy Guy; and today, he continues to be a favorite performer at the world-renowned Monterey Blues Festival. In addition to his live performances and CD recordings, Tony’s credits include: The X Files, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, My Blue Heaven, The Wedding Planner, Mambo Kings, The Naked Gun — to mention a few. Tony’s voice can also be heard on many TV commercials.
