Encino Neighborhood Council Elections Are Today, Saturday 29!

With Carmageddon keeping Encino residents local, it's time to vote!

Here's something to do this Carmageddon. While you're avoiding the 405, you could always stay in Encino and vote!

The Encino Neighborhood Council elections are taking place this Saturday, September 29 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Encino Community Center.

There are plenty of candidates ready to tackle important issues and concerns. Debra George and Sharon Bruer, for example, are running for Park Advocate / Environment Specialist. With the Sepulveda Basin falling under CD6 instead of CD5 since the redistricting earlier this year, the rep will have to work with both Council offices.

If you are an Encino stakeholder, you are eligible to vote. You need to bring photo ID and proof of your affiliation with Encino to the voting booth. Look at the PDF to the right for a list of acceptable forms of ID and documentation.
