Here's what's happening at the Encino-Tarzana Library in February.

All the activities and clubs are provided by the library staff and the Friends of the Encino-Tarzana Library.

Feb. 2, 3 p.m: Friends of the Library Page Turners' Book Club. The group will be discussing The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot at a location outside of the library. Click here for the details.

Feb 7, 4-5 p.m: Arts and crafts fun for children.

Feb 11, 2-3 p.m: Folk Concert: Jerry Burgan will be singing.

Feb 15, 1-2:30 p.m: Friends of Library Open Board Meeting. Call 818-343-1983 to confirm that the meeting will take place as scheduled.

Feb 15, 3-5 p.m: A screening of the Persian movie, A Separation, with English subtitles. A Separation has been nominated for two Oscars this year. Click on the video above to view the trailer.

Feb 16, 4-5 p.m: Teen Council: Help plan library branch events and have some input about what materials and programs the Library offers to teens.

Feb 21, 4-5 p.m: Storytime for children and families.

Feb 22, 4-5:30 p.m: Friends of Library History & Politics Book Club: Select and read a book on former President George W. Bush, and come along prepared for a lively discussion. Click on the video above to see Bush talk about his 2010 autobiography, Decision Points.

Feb 23, 5:30-6:30 p.m: Book Lover's Book Club.
