What Famous Person Used to Live Here?

Can you identify the famous person who used to live where the 101 now runs?

During the course of our "Where in Encino?" series of quizzes, various readers have correctly identified such local landmarks as the old , the on Ventura Boulevard and the on Louise Avenue.

For the latest installment, I'm asking a slightly different question.

The question this week is: What famous (no longer living) person used to live in a house that used to be located where the 101 freeway now runs, just west of the westbound on-ramp near Balboa?

Thank you, Bob, you are correct! Do you also happen to know who rented part of Horton's estate, where the 101 now runs?
