One Rancho Palos Verdes pet owner , saying the elderly woman helped draw the coyotes that snatched her pet to the neighborhood by feeding them regularly.

Jackie Wallace, 85, told KTLA she didn't know it was against the law to feed the coyotes and said she didn't plan to continue leaving food for the animals.

These poor creatures are being trapped and destroyed due to the stupidity that lives here. Leave these beautiful creatures and ALL other creatures alone.

People often get angry and try to blame someone else for their grief. Common sense on "the hill" is to realize that it's a wild enough area that you don't leave your pet animals out where they can become prey to other animals. There are lots of things besides coyotes that will harm pets up here. Rattlesnakes, raccoons, scorpions, etc. These are all here whether you feed them or not.

Noel is right on. I couldn't have said it better myself. I've been hearing the coyotes over the last 2 weeks in the canyon area across Malaga Cove Plaza around 2-3am. It's nature. Keep your pets leashed.
