Summer Programs at Crespi Carmelite High School

Crespi Carmelite High School will be offering Academic and Enrichment Programs along with Summer Sports Camps.

Crespi Carmelite High School will be offering Academic and Enrichment Programs this summer beginning June 25, 2012. Some of the courses include College Camp, Video Production, and Science Camp. College Camp is conducted by Crespi’s college counselor, Mrs. Sharon Barkins-Wasson, and provides students with an in-depth knowledge of the college admissions process. Video Production allows students to gain a broad overview of the entertainment industry by way of writing, analyzing, editing, and broadcasting stories and short video productions. Through Science Camp students will gain firsthand experience and knowledge of topics such as, DNA Extraction, Osmosis and Diffusion, the Scientific Method, along with various other fun and hands-on experiments or labs. College Camp is for High School Students. Science Camp and Video Production are for Elementary and Middle School students.


Crespi will also host sports camps for children ages 7-14 this summer. Baseball, Speed & Agility, Basketball, Soccer, and Lacrosse will all be offered beginning June 18, 2012. Camps are run by Crespi Varsity coaches who are considered to be some of the best in the Valley. Scott Muckey, Varsity Baseball Coach, currently has twenty players competing in the college and professional level. He has won multiple Mission-League titles, and has two C.I.F. titles (2004 and 2009). Lacrosse coach Brock Livingston, led Crespi Lacrosse to its first postseason appearance and has one of the area’s largest programs. Soccer Coach Rob Kodama has produced numerous Academic All-Americans, as well as Regional All-Americans, and has also had numerous players go on to play at the collegiate level. Head Varsity Basketball Coach Russell White has turned the program into a perennial power and one of the best teams in the Valley. He also led the team to a C.I.F. title (2010), three straight semi-final appearances, and two state play-off appearances. Cost ranges from $100-150 and each camp will be in session over a six week period.
