There has been an increase of Burglary from Motor Vehicle (BFMV) at Balboa Park, according to the West Valley Division of the LAPD.
Individuals have been targeting vehicles that have personal property visible including, but not limited to purses, GPS, phone, etc, according to the LAPD. If you are going to the park leave your personal property at home or in the trunk. Remember if there is nothing to steal you won’t be a victim: Lock it. Hide it. Keep it!
