Car Crashes into Medical Building on Tampa, Causes 'Significant' Damage

The motorist suffered non life-threatening injuries.

City building engineers were called out to examine a three-story medical building in Tarzana that sustained "significant" damage when a car crashed into it, a fire official said.

The motorist suffered non life-threatening injuries, said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles City Fire Department.

Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched to the crash at 6043 Tampa Ave. at 9:17 a.m., Humphrey said.
