Encino 'Pack Rat' House Fire Extinguished by LAFD

Firefighters are sent to the 17800 block of Bessemer Street.

A fire Tuesday damaged an Encino-area house described as having "pack rat" conditions, but no one was hurt, authorities said.

Firefighters sent to the 17800 block of Bessemer Street at 10 a.m. extinguished the flames in 31 minutes, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
