Fire Breaks out in Encino Home

Firefighters contained the blaze to a rear room.

Firefighters contained a blaze to a rear room in an Encino home today.

Firefighters were sent to 18010 Erwin St. where fire was burning in a one-story home at 6:17 p.m., said the Los Angeles Fire Department's Erik Scott.

It took 32 firefighters 16 minutes to knock the fire down, according to Scott.
