Firefighters Battle Yarmouth Ave. Apartment Blaze

The are no immediate reports of injuries.

UPDATE, 5:27 a.m.: A fire broke out in a three-story apartment complex in Encino Tuesday morning, but there were no reports of injuries.

The fire at 5335 Yarmouth Ave. near Margate Street was reported at 2:49 a.m. and knocked down by 3:17 a.m., said a Los Angeles Fire Department captain.

There were no reports of injuries, but several people were displaced, according to a news photographer at the scene who reported that flames could be seen on the second and third story balconies of two of the building's units as firefighters battled the blaze.
